Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using TeamSled, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using TeamSled on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Account Registration

To use TeamSled, you must create an account with an accurate email address and, if you enable SMS notifications, a valid phone number that you own or control. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Service Description

TeamSled is a volunteer scheduling platform. It helps organizations build and manage recurring volunteer schedules, and helps volunteers view their assignments and manage their own availability.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use TeamSled for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another organization's account or data
  • Send SMS or email through TeamSled to anyone who has not consented to receive it
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service

5. Payment Terms

TeamSled is currently offered at no charge. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will publish pricing and billing terms before any charges apply, and we will notify existing users of the change.

6. Data Ownership

You and your organization retain ownership of the data you enter into TeamSled — including volunteer names, contact information, and schedule data. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we use it only to provide the service to you as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability

We work to keep TeamSled available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamSled LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of TeamSled will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using TeamSled and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for any account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users or to the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify users directly. Continued use of TeamSled after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
