1. Introduction

This policy explains what information TeamSled LLC ("TeamSled," "we," "us") collects when you use the TeamSled volunteer scheduling service, how we use it, and who we share it with.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and phone number (if you enable SMS)
• Organization information: the duties, teams, and schedules your organization creates in TeamSled
• Usage information: basic application activity logs (e.g. which features are used) recorded internally for troubleshooting and reliability — we do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers

3. How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the scheduling service, including generating and displaying schedules
• To send the email and, if you opt in, SMS notifications you've enabled — such as shift reminders, schedule changes, and substitute requests
• To respond to support requests
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your information. We share it only in these circumstances:

• Within your organization: admins and leaders of your organization can see the schedule and contact information of volunteers in that organization, as needed to coordinate scheduling
• Service providers: we use a small number of vendors to operate TeamSled — see Section 8
• Legal requirements: if required to do so by law or a valid legal process

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If your organization's account is closed, we will delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can review and update your account information at any time from your account settings. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or to ask any other question about your data, contact us at admin@teamsled.app. Today, account and data deletion is handled directly by your organization's admin or by our team upon request — a fully self-service option is planned for the future.

You can opt out of any notification type, including SMS, from your notification settings at any time, or by replying STOP to any TeamSled text message.

8. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following service providers to operate TeamSled. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Fly.io — application hosting and database infrastructure
• Twilio — SMS message delivery, for users who opt into SMS notifications
• SendGrid — email delivery
• Sentry — error monitoring, to help us identify and fix bugs

9. Cookies

TeamSled uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

TeamSled is a scheduling tool for organizational use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify users directly.
